Their Request:
A recruiter agency was in the process of rebranding. They contacted us to photograph 28 staff members and they needed to show the personality of their team. They needed the portraits shot on a white background with a variety of shots that showed each member’s warm personality. The variety needed to be a mixture of serious, soft and fun shots. The photos will be used in literature and online content.
Our Solution:
We set up the studio (lights and a white background in a 3×3 meter space) at their office and spent 3 hours photographing all the staff members. The photographer captured their warm and fun personalities in a series of different poses. The poses consisted of corporate portraits, smiling shots, looking away from the camera, and then fun shots. We also shot a group photo in a natural environment, as well as photographing their staff meeting. More than half of the staff wore white, which meant that we had to deep edge the photos so that the background remains crisp white and that the people stand out from the background. We also did a light airbrushing to remove hot spots on the faces and make them look better than ever.
Out Come:
The photographer took 1156 photos in total to ensure that everyone had the best shot with each pose. We went through all of the photos and narrowed it down to 307 photos so that our client only has the best of the best. Each member has between 10 to 15 photos. The editing took some time but it was worth it in the end. We have a happy client: “Thank you kindly for sending these, they are fantastic images!”
